Burial was in the Atlanta Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were Doug Sherwood, Jerry Lewis Miller, Dave Billings, Harold Billings, James Lloyd Billings, Connie Bob Horne, Marvin Horne, and Gerald Carriere.
A native of Jackson Parish, Mrs. Horne had lived in Winnfield for the past 16 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Randal Horne; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Billings, one daughter, Mrs. Robert D. Guin, all of Winnfield; four sisters, Mrs. H. E. Carriere, Good Pine, and Mrs. C. E. Sherwood, Mrs. Roy Miller, and Miss Evelyn Billlings, all of Winnfield; five brothers, C. C. Billings, Baytown, Texas; J. C. Billings, Kilgore, Texas; L. C. Billings, Houston, Texas; W. L. Billings, Glenmora, and C. E. Billings, Trout. She also leaves one granddaughter of Winnfield.
