Blanche Bailey Foley, 86, formerly of Memphis, passed away Monday August 10, 2009. She began her journey on this earth August 20, 1922. She was one of seven children and the last surviving child of the late Calvin P. and Lodie Bell Gilliam Bailey. Awaiting her in Heaven's bright city, along with her mother and father, were her beloved husband, retired Air Force Master Sergeant, Carl O. Foley; brother, Calvin P. Bailey; sisters, Carrie B. Wright, Addie Mae Bishop, Delila Forester, Clotie Seymour, Ophelia Compos and special nieces, Mildred Cossitt Young and Helen Cossitt Murray. She was a member of Graceview Presbyterian Church until failing health forced her to become homebound. She left behind to mourn her passing are many nieces and nephews. She was a gracious and loving person, quick to offer a smile and word of encouragement. Family and Friends will meet Friday, August 14 at 9 a.m. and the service will follow at 10 a.m. at Forest Hill South Funeral Home, 2545 E. Holmes Road. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
