MRS. LUCINDA E. FUQUA, 89, widow of Harry Fuqua, died at 8 a.m. on Tuesday in her home, 326 South 29th Street. Born in Parke County, she had lived in Lafayette for 55 years. Her husband died in 1922. She was the oldest living member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James Reeves of Indianapolis, and Mrs. James Carter of Lafayette, and three sons, Edward E., Floyd A., and William N., all of Lafayette, and a brother, Martin Toney, of Fontanet. ~~~~ JOURNAL AND COURIER, Lafayette, IN, Apr. 1, 1952, page 7
