Dorothy Anne Hardie Bostwick, 88, of Bostwick Road died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2001 at Boswell Parker Nursing Center, Greensboro, Ga.
Mrs. Bostwick was a daughter of the late Walter Fleming Hardie and Minnie Lee Kingery and was the widow of John Bostwick Jr. She was a school teacher.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bostwick United Methodist Church with the Rev. Doug Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Bostwick City Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Joan B. and James Carpenter, Union Point, Ga.; a daughter-in-law, Jane C. Bostwick, Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Helen Waters, Savannah, Ga.; three grandchildren, John and Tricia Bostwick IV, Bostwick, Ga., Hurley and Mary B. Ryan, Savannah, Ga., Nick and Leanne C. Dowdell, Rutledge, Ga.; two great-grandchildren, William Hurley Ryan III, Savannah, Ga., and John Bostwick Ryan, Savannah, Ga. She was preceded in death by her son, John Bostwick III.
