Mrs. Hattie Lou Bond, 84, of 706 E. Third St. Tuscumbia, died Wednesday at 6:30 a.m. at Colbert County Hospital after a two-year illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Lawrence County until six years ago.
Funeral services were held today from Gum Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Jack Carroll and Bro. Paul Lang officiating. Burial was in Ferguson Cemetery, Lawrence County.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Addie Halbrook, Tuscumbia; one brother, Tolbert Haygood, Moulton; a number of nieces and nephews.
Bearers were Carroll Anderton, Gitch Anderton, Gorman Haygood, Darrell Oliver, John Bonds, and Ernest Haygood.
