Verna Hagood Counts, 77, died Sunday, July 31, 1994, at Medical Center Shoals, Muscle Shoals.
She was a member of Sanderson Chapel Methodist Church, taught school in Lawrence County for 40 years, was a member of the Alabama Education Association, the Lawrence County Retired Teachers Association and Delta Kappa Gamma social sorority.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lawrence Funeral Home, Moulton, the Rev. Ron Winterburg and the Rev. Robert Sanderson officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include husband, William Counts, Hatton; brothers, Charles Hagood, William "Buster" Hagood, both of Moulton; sister, Thelma Forbes, Centre.
Pallbearers will be Roy Loosier, Jessie Jeffreys Jr., A.Q. Harville, Jeff Landers, Joel Landers, Kenneth Counts, Thomas Hagood and Teddy Owens.
