Margaret Roberts was born 13 Aug 1797 in Gloucester county, New Jersey to her mother Margaret (maiden name unknown) and her father (Roberts) whose first name is yet to be identified.
Concerning her parents, her mother married Roberts about 1786 and those children are yet to be found. Roberts passed away prior to 1802. On 1 May 1802 her mother married Tarver/Fawner Seagrave in Salem county, New Jersey and they had at least the following children:
1. Luther Seagrave, b. 15 Feb 1803, Salem county, NJ. Luther died 5 Sep 1849 in Howard county, Indiana.
2. Tarver Seagrave, b. 13 Feb 1809, New Jersey. He passed away 17 Apr 1881 in Howard county, Indiana.
3. Jefferson Seagrave, b. 1815, New Jersey. He passed away in Stark county, Indiana.
John Albertson Ware and Margaret Roberts appear to have met each other while in New Jersey and made the trek west to Warren county, Ohio in the same company, as did John's mother Mary and other Ware family members. Margaret's mother (Margaret Seagrave) also journeyed west with the Seagrave clan that also went to Warren county, Ohio and then on to Howard county, Indiana.
John and Margaret were married 20 Sep 1821 in Lebanon, Warren county, Ohio. They had the following children:

Jesse, b. 12 Jul 1825, Warren county, Ohio

In 1830 John and Margaret and their children moved from Warren county to Montgomery county (where his mother was living) and then on to Stony Creek township, Henry county, Indiana. Here they lived until abt 1847 when they moved to Grant and Howard counties. John purchased land in both counties.
In the 1850s, John and Margaret and their children were living in West Liberty, Union township, Howard county, Indiana (Green township disappeared in 1853 when it was divided and became Union township).
Margaret Roberts Seagrave (b. 1766) was living with her daughter Margaret in 1850 but was not in the 1860 census with her. Because I don't think she went to live anywhere else at her age, she no doubt passed away while living with her daughter Margaret and son-in-law John.
The 1860 US census finds John and Margaret visiting their son John A. J. Ware at his home in Grant county. John Bagwell (age 2) son of their dau Mary who died in 1858 is with them.
About 1862 John's older brother and sister-in-law (Joseph Albertson & Lydia Ware) moved to Greentown, Indiana (about 7 miles from West Liberty) to be closer to John and other relatives, which suggests John may have been ill. They stayed until after 1870.
John Albertson Ware passed away in 1865. His wife Margaret continued to live in West Liberty until her death on 7 Sep 1872. She was buried next to her husband in the Union Civil/Forks of the Creek cemetery in West Liberty, Union township.
