He is survived by his wife Catherine (Van Alstine) Courneya, sons: Michael, David and Scott Courneya.
His mother Marybelle E. Courneya, Kent, Washington, brothers: James, John, Charles and Daniel Courneya; sisters: Charlotte, Clarice, Frances (Courneya) Breen and Areilia Courneya and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father John J. Courneya and brother Joseph Courneya.
