Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret A. Charlton, 76, of Draper's Valley, who died early yesterday at the Pulaski hospital, were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home. The Rev. George H. Gilmer and the Rev. D. R. Freeman were in charge of the services. Burial was in the family cemetery.
She was a daughter of Stephen and Elizabeth Sayers Kirby.
Survivors include two daughters, Miss Elizabeth Charlton, at home, and Mrs. A. B. Alexander, of Draper; four step-daughters, Mrs. W. C. Montague and Mrs. Charles W. Chrisman, of Christiansburg; Mrs. Charles Hornbarger, of Vickers; and Mrs. H.C. Vaughan, of Pulaski; a sister Mrs. M. W. Stevens, of Pulaski.
Active pallbearers were: S H. Kirby. DuVal Kirby, P. G. Pratt, Tom Tate. John Allison, Abner Allison, Albert Mitchell, and R. B. Shelor.
