Boshears, Robert—72, of the Fairview community, passed away Monday Morning, April 15, 1991, at his home following a lingering illness. He was the son of the late Bart Boshears and the late Emma Greene Boshears and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Edd Boshears and Everett Boshears and one sister, Rachel Smithers. He attended the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church when his health permitted. Mr. Boshears is survived by his wife Hazel Phillips Boshears of the Fairview Community; four sons, Jimmy Boshears and wife Mae of Robbins, Bobby Boshears and wife Wilma, Hildred Boshears and wife Sue, Dennis Boshears and wife Debbie all of Fairview; four daughters, Eva Lowe and husband Glenn of Knoxville, Weigela Carroll and husband Carl of Greenville, Mildred Botts and husband Wayne of Fairview and Debbie Boshears of Fairview; eighteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted from the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 18, with Rev. Michael Jeffers, and Rev. Guy Ainsworth officiating. The Mason Family sang. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were: James Harness, David Boshears, Michael Lowe, Jeffery Boshears, Roy Boshears, Tony Boshears, Scott Lowe and Donnie Boshears.
