Margaret Mary (Irwin) Fagan, age 72, of Gautier died on Tuesday, July 21, 2009. She was born in New York City, NY on October 8, 1936. Margie was the eldest of four siblings. She joined Lemuel D. Fagan in wedded bliss on November 16, 1965. She was the mother of three children: James W. Fagan, Elizabeth F. Houck, and Lemuel D. Fagan and the grandmother of twenty grandchildren. Ms. Margie worked as a bank employee most of her career, however when the casino's opened on the coast she really found her niche' in life as a banker (teller). She loved the job and her coworkers. Ms. Margie retired in 1999 to pursue the pleasures of a loving and devoted grandmother and her grandkids were her life. Margie will be missed and eternally loved by her husband and best friend L.D. (Dave) Fagan and all of her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday July 26, 2009 from 6:00-9:00PM at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gautier. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 10:00AM. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 1:00PM in Arlington, Virginia. Those unable to attend may sign the online guestbook at www.obryantokeefe.com.
