Carl Beaver, 61, of Seligman, Mo., died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at St. John?s Hospital in Cassville, Mo. He was born Oct. 13, 1944, in Busch, Ark., to Carl Jefferson Beaver and Maybell Pyles Beaver.

He had lived in this area most of his life. He married Shirley Mae Evans on Nov. 26, 1965, in Busch. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Seligman Fire Department for 10 years and was a heavy equipment operator for Seven Valley Construction in Cassville. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Bell Mc-Corcle.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Shirley Beaver; two daughters and a son-inlaw, Ronda Owens and Tim Owens of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Joni Beaver of Seligman; a son and daughterin-law, Bobby Beaver and Cindy Beaver of Seligman; a brother, Glen Ray Beaver of Lubbock, Texas; four sisters, Anna Mae Clark of Springfield, Mo., Carlene Hyatt of Lubbock, Ruth Marie Peacock of Batesville, Ark., and Mary Etta Smith of Reed Springs, Mo.; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge, Ark. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 24, at the Assembly of God Church in Eureka Springs, Ark., with the Rev. Glen Beaver and the Rev. Eugene Rose. Burial will be at the Fuller Cemetery in Busch, Ark.
