Juanita Hise Allen, 82, of Rossville, died on Wednesday, July 15 at her residence.
Mrs. Allen was a lifelong resident of Catoosa and Walker Counties, and was born in 1926, to the late Annie Lee Andrews Hise and Daniel A. Hise.
She was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church and was retired from K-Mart with over 20 years of service. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and special aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Doc, Buck, and Ted Hise; Sisters, Retta Mae Dodd, Ruby Jewell Mullis and Myrtle Belle Perkinson.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joe (J.P.) Allen; daughter, Patsy McRae (Johnny) of Ringgold; her beloved grandchildren are Michelle Smith, and Chris McRae; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Peyton and Chloe; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga at 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, Tn. 37416.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 17, at 10 a.m. at the Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Rev. Jim Bennett and her nephew, Rev. Joe Dodd officiating. Her grandsons and nephews will be serving as pallbearers.
