Barry Neal Beasley, 50, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2008, at his home in Humphrey.
Barry was born May 5, 1958, in Stuttgart to Jimmie Ray Beasley and Mary Lee Owen Minor. A Stuttgart High School graduate, Barry was employed as an enforcement officer with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission for five years and later worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a devoted father. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.R. Beasley; and his grandparents, Arthur and Lola Beasley.
Survivors are his wife, Michelle Rieves Beasley, and their son, Jake Paul Beasley; his mother, Mary Lee Minor of Monticello; his step-mother, Tana Beasley of Stuttgart; two brothers, Jim Beasley and wife Denise of Monticello, and Fred Beasley of Humphrey; and one sister, Ginger Cotton and husband T.J. of Monticello.
A memorial service, officiated by Bro. Joseph Spangler, is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Turpin Funeral Home chapel with burial in Frazier Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Turpin Funeral Home.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
