High School in 1947. She married Glen Ross Abshire on August 10, 1947, in Eagle City, OK. She was a member of Canton Christian Church and the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons and one daughter. She was survived by one daughter, Joyce Cravens; one brother, Harry H. Haigler, Jr.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Her funeral was held at Canton Christian Church on July 17, 2009, with The Rev. Steve Driskill officiating.
