Catherine Kuss, 86, of 314 Marquette, died at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Arrangements are being made by the Peek Funeral Home in Wanatah.

Kuss-Services for Mrs. Catherine Kuss, 86, of 314 Marquette, who died at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness, will be at 11 a.m. CST Thursday in the Peek Funeral Home, Wanatah. Rev. David Harrold, pastor of Faith United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and until services Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Methodist Memorial Fund.
She was born on June 10, 1894, in Wanatah, and lived there until nine years ago, when she moved to South Bend. On Oct. 11, 1911, In Wanatah, she married Charles Kuss. He died on Dec. 9, 1963. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Annabelle) Forhwerk, Mrs. Raymond (Elsie) Jones and Mrs. Everett (Ruth) Kalwitz, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Ernest (Margaret) Williams of Clute, Tex.; a son, Ralph of South Bend; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was a member of the church and the Faith Women's Circle.
