Betty Brown Ball, wife of Arthur W. Ball, Jr. of Magnolia, Tx died Wednesday, March 6, 1985 at Tomball Community Hospital, Tomball, Tx. Mrs. Ball collapsed suddenly while teaching her class at Decker Prairie School, Tomball ISD. In addition to her husband Arthur Ball, Mrs. Ball is survived also by her two daughters, Adele Elizabeth Ball, of Greensboro, N. Carolina and Rebecca Ball Honea, of Lake Jackson, Tx., her mother, Mrs. T.M. Brown of Huntsville, Tx.; and her sister, Dorothy Brown Ealey of Houston, Texas. Mrs. Ball was born in Amarillo, Tx.

She completed high school in Amarillo and then graduated from Texas State College for Women, Denton, Tx. Mrs. Ball traveled extensively and lived abroad with her children and husband who is an international petroleum geologist, now retired from husky Oil Limited, Calgary, Canada.

Services were conducted at the Chapel of Klein Funeral Home, Tomball, Tx. at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 1985. Graveside services followed at 1:00 p.m. at the Masonic Cemetery, Chappell Hill, Washington County, Texas. Memorials may be given to the Harris County Library, Tomball Branch, James St., Tomball, Tx.
