Biography:
Written by Roselea Pfieffer

Hanna Cisne was born in Johnson County, Iowa, November 22, 1847. She was married to Fred Ahlbright January 18, 1866. She died at 6:30 a.m., Nov. 20, 1911.

To this union were born eleven children, nine daughters and two sons. One daughter and one son preceded her to the better land.

She united with the Methodist church of Iowa City at an early age and ever remained a true and faithful Christian.
She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, ever trying to do good and smooth the path of others.

The funeral took place at the family home at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. A.R. Rossman of Edgar, form pastor of the M.E. Church of Trumbull.

For almost four years she had been a helpless invalid without a moment free from pain, but she bore it all with patience, scarcely murmuring.

Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.
