John Clarence Brown died Wednesday, April 13, 1921, at Butler at the home of his son John E. Brown, at the age of 71 years. Mr. Brown was born at Dravosburg. He was baptized in the Allegheny river and taken into the German Lutheran church. He married Margaret Kohl of Dravosburg in 1870. She died in 1891.

Mr. Brown died of neuralgia of the heart and was sic but twenty-four hours. He is survived by one brother, two sisters, six children and twenty-four grandchildren. The children are Mrs. Emma Cook of Washington, Pa; Mrs. Wilda Nye of Sharon; John E. of Butler; Joseph of Ashtabula, Ohio; Charles I of Evans City; and Bert of Ellwood City. Interment was made at Richland cemetery at Dravosburg Saturday afternoon. Mr. Brown was a resident of newar Zelienople for about five years before going to Butler.

John C. BROWN, aged 71 years, a former well known resident of Dravosburg, died yesterday at noon at the home of his son, John E. BROWN, of Butler, PA. Death was due to heart trouble with which he had been suffering for some time. Mr. BROWN for years followed the vocation of a mine foreman and also at one time conducted a barbershop in Dravosburg where he resided 30 years ago. His wife, Mrs. Catherine KOHL Brown, died 30 years ago, and four sons and two daughters survive. The body will likely be brought here on Saturday and taken to the German Lutheran church, Dravosburg, where services will be held. Interment will be in Richland cemetery.

The body of John C. BROWN, of Butler, PA, formerly of Dravosburg, will arrive here tomorrow afternoon about ? o'clock, and will be taken to the German Lutheran church, Dravosburg, for burial services at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Richland cemetery.
