Flossie Alene Throneberry, age 86, of Tullahoma, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at her home in Tullahoma, TN. Mrs. Throneberry was a retired Process Hanger with Tennessee Tannery where she was the first woman hired by Tennessee Tannery in 1966. Mrs. Throneberry attended Christian Lighthouse Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Franklin Throneberry; and two brothers, Howard and Estill Dickerson. She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Smith of Lebanon, Tn; one sister, Albirn Thomas of Monteagle; and two grandchildren, Callie Smith and Heather Blake Stone. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, from 5:00 to 9:00 at the Kilgore Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at 11:00 at the Christian Lighthouse Church with Bobby Watkins officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Coffee County.
