Died Tuesday, Allie Aull Rites Friday
Funeral service for Allie L. Aull, 62, 3034 Fairlawn Court, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Reed and Jewell Funeral Home by the Rev. Herschel Northern.
Burial will be at Nineveh Cemetery.
Persons may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Aull died Tuesday morning at Red Lake, Ontario. He had been in failing health 5½ years.
Born March 4, 1915, in Kentucky, he was the son of Clarence and Sarah Sipes Aull.
He married the former Billie Jean Franks in 1940, and she survives.
Having resided most of his life in Evansville, he had moved to Columbus in 1944. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He retired from Cummins Engine Co. 5½ years ago after 26 years of employment there.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jack New of 1637 Meridian and Mrs. Everett Schock of 2735 Bittersweet; a brother, Walter Aull of Newbern; a sister, Opal Dorsey of Newbern, and three grandsons.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Della Larson.
