1st Lieutenant Easton was the co-pilot aboard U.S. Army Air Corps B-24D Liberator #41-23855.
He was serving with the 39th Bomb Group, 402nd Bomb Squadron from Davis-Monthan
Army Airfield. He was killed when the bomber went off course during a training
flight and crashed into Mt. Baldy, in the White Mountain Range at the
Arizona-New Mexico border. Nine other Army fliers also perished.

1942 married Jeanne Louise (Gambill) Easton Moore (1922-1986, WA)
