Lloyd E. Armstrong, 85, born April 13, 1913, in Wichita, Kan., passed away Feb. 8, 1999. Survived by his sons, Lloyd Gale (Colleen) Armstrong of Pueblo, Virgil L. (Jayne) Armstrong of Wheat Ridge- daughter, Dorothy (John) Polit of Willows, Calif. - eight grandchildren, Michelle, Eric, Christopher, and Zachary Armstrong, Katheryn Altnow, Leslie, Paul and Eddie Hase- and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Ann Armstrong- parents, William and Ida Armstrong- and 11 brothers and sisters. Lloyd retired in 1975 from Associated Groceries with 36 years of service. He served honorably in World War II, in the South Pacific. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Thursday, Imperial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with full military honors at Imperial Memorial Gardens. Visitation, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday.
