FROSTBURG BANKER SUCCUMBS
Harry E. Winner, 44, of 248 Talcott Avenue, Frostburg, vice president and load officer of the Fidelity Bank, died last night in Frostburg Community Hospital where he was admitted earlier in the day.
A native of Frostburg, he was a son of Raymond Winner and the late Emma (Beeman) Winner.
Mr. Winner was a member of the Frostburg United Methodist Church, Frostburg Lions Club, Lodge 348, Loyal Order of Moose, group leader of Group 1, Maryland Bankers Association, and past president of the Bankers Administration Institute.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are his step-mother, Mrs. Alice (Berkebile) Winner, and his widow, Teresa (Layman) Winner; three sons, David E. Winner, Darrin S. Winner and Derek J. Winner, all at home; three daughters, Susan D. Winner, Sharon L. Winner and Sandra M. Winner, all at home and four brothers, Raymond Winner, Houston, Texas; William Winner, Gadston, Ala.; Edward Winner, Frostburg; and George Winner, Export, Pa.
Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home by Rev. Clarence A. Kaylor, pastor of Frostburg United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
The Moose Lodge will conduct a service tomorrow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be James Kreiling, Jess Williams, Jack Parker, Edward Langan, Joseph Langan and Donald Short
