Gizella Toth, 67, formerly of Irish Settlement Road, died Friday at United Helpers Nursing Home, where she had resided since May 2.
Mrs. Toth was a nurse's aide at St. Joseph's Home for 17 years, retiring in 2004.
Born May 16, 1940, in Czechoslovakia, daughter of Stefan and Maria Stachova Fecske, she obtained a registered nursing degree from a college in Czechoslovakia and moved in 1977 to the United States.
She married Eugene Toth on June 9, 1977, in Slovenska Republic. He died Sept. 16, 2004.
Mrs. Toth was known for her flower gardens.
Surviving are her mother and a sister, a niece and a nephew.
The funeral will be at the family's convenience. Entombment will be in Foxwood Memorial Park. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Fox-McLellan Funeral Home.
