The funeral for James J. Sullivan, 59, of 20 River Ledge Road, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Foxwood Memorial Park Chapel, Ogdensburg. Burial will follow in Foxwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Sullivan died early Thursday at his home. He had been ill with lung disease.
Mr. Sullivan operated a dairy farm on Chippewa Bay Road for 41 years.
Born Feb. 26, 1940, in Watertown, he was a son of Gerald and Sarah Sullivan .
He married Gertrude "Trudy" Seymour on Nov. 15, 1958, at St. Peter's Church. She died June 11, 1993. He then married Eleanor LaRue Sunderland on Oct. 18, 1997, in Hammond.
Mr. Sullivan was a member of the Hammond Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years and served on the Hammond Central School Board for 25 years.
Survivors besides his wife are two sons, three daughters, three sisters, a brother, John, 11 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
