Graveside services for Mr. W.J. "Dub" Brewer, 79, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at Bistineau Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Baskin officiating. Services are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. today, April 2, at the funeral home.
Mr. Brewer, a native of Leachville, Ark., and a resident of Heflin, passed away Monday, April 1, in Shreveport. He was a retired vice president of engineering at Fibrebond.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Glenda Brewer.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Jinks Brewer of Heflin; sons, Douglas Brewer of Moberly, Mo., and Karl Brewer and wife Kathy of Midland, Texas; sister, Grace Nowak and husband Len of Little Rock, Ark.; grandchildren, Allyson Council, Kelle Brewer, Kris Brewer, Ashton Brewer and Chad Castle; and great-grandchildren, Zachary Brewer, Chad Castle Jr. and Chandler Castle.
