Lester Vernon Davis was born in McLemoresville, Tennessee on January 23, 1896. He worked as an electrical contractor for the Tennessee Valley Authority in Alabama. He married Lottie Davis prior to 1920. After separation he married Eva F. Davis prior to 1930 and they had a son, Lester Vernon Davis, Jr. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces and later moved to Panama. He died on June 16, 1945. He was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery then reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
