ORANGE BEACH -- Dorothy Marie Brown, a native of Bessemer, Ala., and a resident of Orange Beach, died Thursday at her home. She was 77. Brown was a member of the Grace Class at the First Baptist Church of Orange Beach and a member of the Nu Beta Chapter of Chi Omega Sorority at the University of Alabama. She is survived by one son, Norman K. Brown Jr.; and two daughters, Dorothy Bonds and Julia Brown, all of Orange Beach; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be today from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral at First Baptist Church of Orange Beach, with burial in Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley. Arrangements are being made by Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Orange Beach, 4773 Bay Circle, Orange Beach, AL 36561.
