He was born June 16, 1938 to Joe D. Garcia and Judy (Sema) Garcia in Albuquerque, NM. He married Naomi (Jarimil-lo) and moved to Clearfield, Utah and raised his family. He was a coach for many years for the youth of Clearfied. After working for 30 years at HAFB he returned home to Socorro, NM. He is survived by his sons, Joseph A. (JillAnn) Garcia, Syracuse, UT and Alfred D. (Carmen) Garcia of Washington, D.C. and daughter, Lisa D. (Arthur) Torres of Las Lunas, NM and eight grandchildren. Rosary was recited on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004 at the San Miguel Catholic Church. Funeral Mass was celebrated Feb. 13, 2004. Burial was in the Polvadera Cemetery in NM. Cremation was under the care of Steadman Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, New Mexico.
