Elizabeth was the daughter of Mary Ann Jobe and Aaron H. Williams of Madison County, Indiana.

She married (1) James Farr Bamford, 7 January 1877 at Wright County, Missouri. She was mother to six girls and one son. She was a nurse by occupation.

After James' death in 1913, she remained a widow until age 66; she married (2) John Daney Page, who was twice widowed at age 71. They were wed on 29 December 1927 at Dayton and he lived less than three years more.

Elizabeth remained a widow until her death, at which, she was buried alongside her first husband.
