Mrs. Maud M. Nelson Bishop, a native and lifelong resident of Fairhope, died July 13 in Thomas Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 P.M. on July 15 at the Bayview Chapel with the Revs. Allen Smith and Rita Wenzel officiating. Interment was in Fairhope Memory Gardens.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Estelle Spader, Fairhope; one son, Ernest E. (Bub) Bishop, Fairhope; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Bishop, Fairhope and Mrs. Fannie Campbell, Mobile; three brothers, Roy Nelson and Joe Nelson, both of Fairhope and Alfred Nelson, Pensacola; six granddaughters and eleven great-grandchildren.
In lie of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Fairhope Christian Church.
Arrangements were by Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope Chapel.
