Mrs. Flora Lillian (Flo) Campbell, 79, mother of Mrs. J.R. Coke of Bartlesville and resident of this area for the past thirty-one years, died following an apparent heart attack at her home about 8 a.m. Saturday. While Mrs. Campbell had been failing in health for the past several years, her death came unexpectedly.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, in the Arnold Moore Funeral Chapel. Rev. David Suagee and Rev. Joel Blanton will officiate and interment will be in White Rose Cemetery.
Mrs. Campbell was born near Parkersburg, West Va. on August 4, 1883. She was married there in 1900 to the late William Oren Campbell. Soon after their marriage, they came to Indian Territory in the earlyday oil field development in this area. Following several residence changes in the state they moved to Bartlesville in 1931. Mr. Campbell died in 1949 and since that time she has continued to reside there.
In addition to her daughter of Bartlesville, Mrs. Campbell is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lava Knight of Breckenridge, Texas; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
