Eila V. Marlowe , 79, of 118 Roxboro Circle, North Syracuse, formerly of Ogdensburg, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, where she had been a patient for three days.
A prayer service will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame Church. Burial will be in Foxwood Memorial Park.
Surviving are her husband, Walter; a son, nieces, nephews and cousins, and a sister-in-law.
Born at Cape Vincent on Aug. 9, 1911, daughter of Edward and Grace Duford Ryan, she attended Ogdensburg schools.
She married Walter Marlowe on March 4, 1930. They lived in Ogdensburg until 1958, when they moved to the Syracuse area.
She worked as a sales clerk for the J.M. Fields Co., Syracuse.
