Eldon died at the VA Medical Center, North Military Trail in West Palm Beach Florida. He was cremated and his old girlfriends son James Hill took care of arrangments and possibly has much more info. James Hill is currently living in Cape Vincent New York and I am working on contacting him to see if he has family photos, etc. I am also working on obtaining a death certificate from Florida to see if Eldon had a will and why no-one in his immediate "blood" family was contacted about his death.
The Tillman Funeral Home, West Palm Beach Florida (561-965-4412) released his remains to Cleveland Funeral Home, 404 Sherman Street, Watertown New York (315-788-6180) for burial in Sanford Corners Cemetery, Black River New York with the rest of his family.
Cause of death unknown at this time. Eldon spent about 25 or more years with a woman named Drusilla Hill however they split up years before his death. She died in 2009. Drusilla's children may provide the Stanford family information in the event someone can get ahold of one of them. I am currently working on this.
