"Obituary - Levi Meddaugh 1890 - 1977
Levi Meddaugh, 87, New Holstein, a former Plainfield Resident, died Wednesday night at Calumet Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Goult-Gasperic Funeral Home, Plainfield. Ruben Primeau will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Saturday.
Mr. Meddaugh was born Feb. 14, 1890, in Neillsville, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Meddaugh. He lived in Plainfield for many years and later lived in Nekoosa, Texas, Chilton and New Holstein. He was a veteran of World War I. He married Mildred Banks in 1931 in Bancroft, she survives. Also surviving are three sons, Levi, Robert and George, Nekoosa; two daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Donna) Hanneman, New Holstein and Mrs. Belva Olsen, Chilton; one sister, Mrs. Katherine McGuire in Florida; and eleven grandchildren.
Seven sisters, one brother, one son and one daughter preceded him in death."
