This headstone found it's way home to, Claggett Cemetery, after more than 14 years away. It was rescued from a rubbish heap near Capital Monument, by a kind woman, Jeanne Masser, in 1998, who had plans to see it returned to the family. However, years passed and time was not available to do the lengthy search. Thanks to Find A Grave and the original contributor, Shirley Jones, the stone has at least found it's way back to Claggett Cemetery, where Effie and her mother, Rebecca, are recorded to be buried. Thanks, all, for your help.
