Mr. Ralph Lee Zimmerman, 95, of Annapolis, died Friday, Jan. 18, at the Fairfield Nursing Center, Annapolis.
He was the husband of the late Bessie P. Cutsail Zimmerman, who died in 1954 and the late Lydia Poore Zimmerman, who died in 1990.
Born June 2,1895, in Frederick, he was a son of the late Marshall L. and Emma Easterday Zimmerman.
Mr. Zimmerman taught school in Frederick County and Baltimore city for 42 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War I. He was active in the Harlem Park and Wesley Memorial Churches in Baltimore. He served as Sunday school superintendent and as a teacher for the Men's Bible Class.
Surviving is one daughter, Dorothy Ann Freeman of Annapolis; one son, Donald L. Zimmerman of Baltimore; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 21, in the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home, Annapolis. Interment will be in Lorraine Park Cemetery, Baltimore.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heritage Baptist Church, Forest Drive, Annapolis, Md. 21401.
