VIRGIL TIDMARSH

VARNA: Virgil R. Tidmarsh, 92, of Rural Route 1, Box 164, died at 6:10 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 1996, at his home.

Born March 19, 1904, in rural Varna in Roberts Township to Henry and Elizabeth Muller Tidmarsh, he married Mildred R. Nenne on February 24, 1937, in Varna. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Daryl (Rebecca) Klusendorf of Peoria, IL and Ruth Johnston of Honolulu; one son, Robert of Sarasota, FL; and three grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

He farmed in the Varna area more than 40 years. He was a member of Marshall-Putnam Farm Bureau.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon, IL. The Rev. Peter Glock will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the memorial home. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Varna, IL.
