Mrs. Jennie Lou Powell, 92 of Marked Tree, died Sunday at Lane's Nursing Home in Monette. She was a housewife and had lived in Marked Tree for 50 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Beatrice Blankenship Newcom of Monette, and one grandson, Jimmy Blankenship of Monette.
Services were scheduled to be held at 3 pm this afternoon with Rev. David Bentley officiating. Burial will be in Monette cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
Pallbears include Gail Cullum, Russell Stricklin, John Watson, Gary Gipson, Russell Flanigan and Harry Adams, Jr.
