WEBB CITY, Mo.--Mrs. Ruth Lula Dean, 71, 213 W. Austin St., died at 3:45 a.m. Thursday in Freeman Hospital, Joplin, where she had been a patient four days.
Born Jan. 24, 1900 at Alton, Iosa, she had lived in Webb City 36 years, coming here from Guymon, Okla. She was the widow of Daniel Dean, who died in 1969. She was a member of the Frisco Church.
Surviving are three sons, Frank Dean, Carl Junction, Ernest Dean, Portland, Ore, and Hershel Dean, Sacramento, Calif; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Winnett, Carl Junction, Mrs. Lela Wuellner, Webb City and Mrs. Christine Sorg, Joplin; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Armstrong, Independence, Mo.; a brother, Lory Irons, Tucumcari, N.M. and several grandchildren.
Services will be announced by Hedge-Lewis Funeral home.
