GEORGE McPHAIL, ORONOGO MILLMAN, DIES AT HOME TODAY

George McPhail, 54 years old, a former mine millman, died this morning at 8:15 o'clock at his home in Oronogo after several months illness. Mr. McPhail had been a patient at the state tuberculosis sanitarium at Mount Vernon the past month and was returned to his home only Thursday of this week.

The deceased was born in Watertown, S.D., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander McPhail. He had lived in Oronogo the past 40 years.

Surviving are his wife, Hazel McPhail, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Dean of Webb City; his mother, Mrs. Eliza Reece of Neosho; three sisters, Mrs. Kate McKee of Treece, Kan., Mrs. Lena Cresswell of Picher, Okla., and Mrs. Marie Webb of Carterville; one brother, Donald McPhail of Los Angeles and one grandchild.

The body was removed to the Hedge-Lewis funeral home.
