Survived by two daughters, Joan Jones, Pride, and Cheryl Esdorn, Houston, two sons, Darryl Alford and Lynell Alford, both of Baker, a sister, Doris Law, Baker, two brothers, Emmitt Dougherty and Alvie Dougherty, both of Baker, 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Herman Alford, parents, Lawrence Sylvester and Margaret Virginia Brown Dougherty; a sister, Hattie Devall; and two brothers, Raymond and Wilburn Dougherty. She was a member of Deerford United Methodist Church, Deerford
