ALICIA MARIE BYRNS CEDAR LAKE, IN

Alicia Marie Byrns, age 22, passed away suddenly May 20, 2009. She leaves her loving parents: Felicia (Dan) Schuster; brothers: Steven Byrns, Dan Schuster, Aaron Schuster and Joe Schuster; cherished maternal grandmother, Dorothy Dyke; paternal grandparents: Randall (Phyllis) Byrns; and paternal grandmother, Juliette Schuster. Alicia was the niece to many aunts and uncles; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Steven Byrns; and maternal grandfather, Donald Dyke. Alicia may best be remembered for her love of children. She taught swimming lessons for numerous years. Alicia looked forward to entering the teaching profession. She was employed at Cedar Lake Boys & Girls Club of America as the Recreational Director. She was a graduate of Griffith High School (Class of 2005) where she was a competitive swimmer. Alicia will be truly missed by all the lives she has touched. Family and friends may gather on Friday, May 22, 2009 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 S. Cline Ave., Schererville, IN. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
