She was born June 9, 1936, in Prenter, West Virginia, the daughter of Homer and Lucille Cooper Caldwell. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Beavercreek.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie (Wendy) Atkins, Xenia, three grandchildren, Halee Atkins, Ben Atkins, and Molly Atkins, and by a brother and sister-in-law, Homer Jack (Mary Ruth) Caldwell, of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene Kyle Atkins, on Oct. 9, 2005, a daughter, Sheryl Atkins, and by a sister Jeannie Huffman.
