Ira 0. Starr, 66, of Route 3 Junction City died Monday Dec. 28, 1953. A resident of Junc tion City for 63 years, he was born March 10, 1887, at Newton, Mo., and married Martha May Swift in Eugene Dec. 28, 1910.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Lavina Taylor, Blachly, Lula Watson, Junction City, Bessie Randall, Winston; a son, Claude, Junction City; a sister, Stella Kennedy, Ashland; two brothers, Albert Kent, Wash, and Charles, Reedsport; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Miller Sherman Murphy Funeral Home, Junction City, with the Rev. H. La Verne Schafer officiating. Burial will be in the Junction City IOOF Cemetery."
