Mr. Pleasants was well known in this city. He was for five years connected with the establishment of the Waples-Platter Grocer company, and later was with E. H. Keller. He had been a resident here since 1890, coming from Virginia. He had many friends in the city. He leaves a wife and one child.
The hour for the funeral has not been arranged, but will be announced in The Register Sunday morning.
