TEXAN PLEADS GUILTY IN TEXICO SLAYING
Clovis, N.M. Feb 6(AP)- Ray Tittle, 21-year-old Texan, pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges Tuesday in the fatal shooting several weeks ago of John W. Raburn, Texico WOA worker, during a petty dispute over a domino table.

Tittle will be sentenced Friday by District Judge Harry L. Patton, before whom he was to go on trial. He had been under $5000 bond and held in the county jail.

Raburn was slain following an altercation between him and Tittle rising from Raburn's sitting on a domino table belonging to Tittle.

His name is William Joshua Raburn. Born 3 Oct 1889 (based on 1900 census shows 10/1889, hissister, my grandmother was born 7/1891 so it is likely he was born in 1889 although his draft registration card shows 10/3/1890, in Hood County, Texas.

Funeral services for Raborn will be held in Texico Methodist church, 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon. The Rev. Sloan, Methodist minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Texico cemetery.

Rayborn was born in Tolar, Tex., in 1888. Rayborn and his family moved to Texico about three years ago.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Eva Rayborn, and three children, James Arnel, William Harold and Lovejoy.

Pallbearers will be Torrance Bowers, Abe Williams, Martin Cranfill, Grier Hughes, Frank Ross and Clyde Fogerson, all of Texico.

The Steed Mortuary is in charge.
