Ardmore — MIDWEST CITY —— Services for Valerie Patricia Besaw, 51, of Ardmore, will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2008, at Saint Mark Lutheran Church, 7501 E. Reno, with the Rev. Jonathan Litzner officiating.
Born Feb. 26, 1957, in Ardmore to Emmett and Mary Besaw, Valerie died Monday, April 28, 2008, in an Oklahoma City hospital. She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Trevor Besaw; and a nephew, Jason Treese.
For many years, while living in Oklahoma City, Valerie helped provide child care for her nieces and nephews. She played an integral part in raising eight children. She was so looking forward to the birth of another child due Monday, May 5, to Jessica and Steve White, Moore. Valerie attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Oklahoma City and Saint Mark Lutheran Church when visiting family.
Survivors include her mother; three sisters, Carleen Holbrook and her husband, Dean, Tuttle, Kerry Vestal and her husband, Dalton, Rosewood, Calif., and Koren Treese and her husband, Kevin, Moore; nieces and nephews, John, Jessica and Jennifer Holbrook, Tuttle, Alicia, Daniel and Kristy Vestal, Rosewood, Calif., Amber and Travis Treese, Moore; four great nieces, Kiera and Kate Holbrook, Moore, Alexia and Scotlyn Hobaugh, Tuttle; and an aunt, Marjorie Patterson, Ardmore.
