Letitia was the daughter of William and Sarah Beacham.

She was baptized at St. Quiricus and St. Julietta in Tickenham, Somerset, England on 8 May 1808.

Her siblings (who were all also baptized at St. Quiricus and St. Julietta) included William, Sophia, Joseph, James, Henry, John, Sarah, and Ann (died at 5yrs. and buried at St. Quiricus and St. Julietta).

She and Edward were married 6 May 1832 at Redcliffe, St Mary, Bristol, England. Afterwards they moved to Kenn, Somerset, where they attended St. John the Evangelist. All of her children except the youngest, Joseph, were baptized there.

Letitia, Edward, and the children (except for Jane, who came with her grandparents William and Sarah in 1839), arrived in New York, New York from Bristol, England on board the ship Cosmo 15 May 1846.

That same year, her youngest son Joseph Henry was born in Pottsville, Schuylkill, PA.

Letitia lived in Schuylkill and Montour Counties in Pennsylvania. And at one point she lived next door to her brother William and his wife Maria after she was widowed.

Her last thirty years were spent living with her daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law John Lunger.

She was a faithful member of the Episcopal church in Danville for 60 years.
